Archiving Policy

The Yashfeen Journal of Health Innovation and Practice (YJHIP) follows a two-tier archiving policy.

  • Tier 1: All YJHIP articles are archived in the following repositories:

    • PubMed Central: A free full-text archive of biomedical and life sciences journals.
    • Crossref: A digital repository that stores and indexes scholarly publications.
    • Sherpa/RoMEO: A database that provides information on copyright and self-archiving policies of academic publishers.
  • Tier 2: YJHIP articles are also archived in the following repositories, subject to the author's choice:

    • Author's institutional repository: Many universities and research institutions have institutional repositories where they archive their faculty's research outputs.
    • ResearchGate: A social networking site for researchers where they can share their research papers and data.
    • Academia.edu: A similar social networking site for researchers.

YJHIP authors are encouraged to archive their articles in as many repositories as possible to ensure that their work is widely accessible.

Here are the specific archiving policies for each repository:

  • PubMed Central: All YJHIP articles are deposited in PubMed Central within 12 months of publication.

  • Crossref: All YJHIP articles are deposited in Crossref upon publication.

  • Sherpa/RoMEO: YJHIP articles are archived in Sherpa/RoMEO under the green light policy, which means that authors are allowed to self-archive their work in any repository without restrictions.

  • Author's institutional repository: YJHIP authors are encouraged to archive their articles in their institutional repository. The specific archiving policy of each institution will vary.

  • ResearchGate: YJHIP authors are allowed to self-archive their articles in ResearchGate.

  • Academia.edu: YJHIP authors are allowed to self-archive their articles in Academia.edu.
